How to use Meta Tags in Search Engine Promotion

Meta tags are associated with Search Engine Optimization Process. After keywords analysis, second step is to use appropriate meta tags on all the pages of a website. Meta tags are mainly used to provide information to search engines about website and all its pages. When we talk about meta tags, it mainly relates to meta descriptions and meta keyword tags. Some search engines like Google display the meta tags as part of the search results. However meta keywords do not appear in the search results.
