Make Money Online (Without Spending a Dime)

Making money online used to pretty much require you to have your own Web site, products to sell and some marketing savvy. But a new generation of dot-coms have arisen that will pay you for what you know and who you know without you having to be a web designer or a marketing genius.

But it's hard to tell hype from the real deal. I did a search on "make money online" and "making money online", and much of the information out there is just promoting various infoproducts, mostly about Internet marketing. I see why people sometimes ask, "Is anyone making money online besides Internet marketing experts?"

So I put together a list of business opportunities with legitimate companies that:

  • Pay cash, not just points towards rewards or a chance to win money
  • Don't require you to have your own Web domain or your own products
  • Don't involve any hard-selling
  • Aren't just promoting more Internet marketing
  • Give a good return on your time investment
In the interest of objectivity, none of the links below are affiliate links, and none of them have paid or provided any other consideration for their presence here. These are legitimate companies with business models that allow you to get paid for a wide range of activities.

Help friends find better jobs.

Sites like ReferEarns, Zyoin, Who Do You Know For Dough?, Bohire and WiseStepp connect employers with prospective employees, many of whom are already employed and not actively job-hunting, via networking - the people who know these qualified candidates. Rewards for referring a candidate who gets hired range from $50 on up to several thousand dollars - not chump change. If you know a lot of job-seekers (and who doesn't these days?), this is a great way to break into the recruiting business with no overhead.

Connect suppliers with buyers.

Referral fees are a common practice in business, but they haven't been used much in online networking sites because there was no way to track them. Sites like Salesconx, InnerSell and uRefer now provide that. Vendors set the referral fees they're willing to pay (and for what), and when the transaction happens, you get paid. uRefer also allows merchants to set up referral programs for introductions and meetings, as well as transactions.

Write.

A growing number of sites will pay for your articles or blog posts. Associated Content and Helium will "pay for performance" based on page views for just about anything you want to write about. Articles on specific topics they're looking for can earn direct payments up to about $200. The rates are probably low for established writers, but if you're trying to break into the field and have time on your hands, they're a great way to start. Also, a lot of companies are looking for part-time bloggers. They may pay per post or on a steady contract. Our Weblogs Guide posts blogging jobs weekly in the forum.

Start your own blog.

You don't have to have your own Web site, or install blogging software, or even figure out how to set up the advertising. At Blogger you can set up a blog for free in less than five minutes without knowing a thing about web design, and Blogger even automates setting up Google AdSense so you can make money off your blog by displaying ads and getting paid when people click on the ads. To make even more money from it, set up an affiliate program (see below) for books, music, etc., and insert your affiliate links whenever you refer to those items. You'll have to get a lot of traffic to become a six-figure blogger, but pick an interesting topic, write well, tell all your friends, and you're off to a good start.

Create topical resource hubs.

Are you an expert on a particular niche topic? Can you put together an overview of the topic and assemble some of the best resources on the topic from around the web? Then you can create topical hubs and get paid through sites like Squidoo, HugPages and Google Knol. Payments are based on a combination of ad revenue and affiliate fees. You'll get higher rates doing it on your own, but these sites have a built-in supply of traffic and tools to make content creation easier.

Advertise other people's products.

If you already have a Web site or a blog, look for vendors that offer related but non-competing products and see if they have an affiliate program. Stick to familiar products and brands - they're easier to sell. To promote those products:

  • Place simple text or graphical ads in appropriate places on your site
  • Include links to purchase products you review or recommend in a blog, discussion forum or mailing list you control
  • Create a dedicated sales page or Web site to promote a particular product
They all work - it just depends on how much time you have to spend on it and your level of expertise with Web design and marketing.

Microstock photography.

You don't have to be a professional photographer to sell your photos for money. People are constantly in need of stock photography for websites, presentations, brochures and so on, and are willing to pay for the right image. People generally search for images on stock photography sites by keywords, not by photographer, so you have the same chance as anyone else of having your image picked. Just be careful that you don't have images of trademarked brands, copyrighted art or people's faces that are readily identifiable (unless you have a model release), but just about anything else is fair game, and I promise - you'd be amazed what people need pictures of, so don't make any assumptions. If it's a decent photo, upload it. Some sites to get you started include Fotolia, ShutterStock, Dreamstime and iStockphoto. The great thing about this is that it's truly "set it and forget it".

The above list is by no means comprehensive, but it highlights some of the new and interesting ways to make money online without investing any money, without having a product of your own, and without having expert sales and marketing skills. Most of all, unlike taking surveys or getting paid to read e-mail, the potential return on your time investment is substantial.

How to Sell Items on eBay

If you want to sell your own products and goods online then using an eBay store is the best way to go.

When you setup a store, eBay creates your auction site for you. You'll be able to customize certain aspects of it (title, links, etc.) and it lives on ebay.com's domain.

There's no programming experience necessary and it can be setup in minutes. eBay does all the background work and your visitors will use the regular eBay bidding engine, etc.

Click here for details on setting up your store.
Tips on Getting Traffic to Your Auction Site

If you want your auction website to be found in search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc. then I highly suggest you create another site in addition to your eBay store.

Now you may ask, "If eBay is setting up my store for me then why do I need to create a separate web site?"

Here's why...

When eBay creates your auction site, the website address will be something like this:

http://stores.ebay.com/your_store_name

Now, you don't have to create a separate site. You can just promote the auction page that eBay will give you.

However, the problem with that site is that it sits on eBay's domain so if you tried to submit it to Yahoo or other searchable engines and directories it would get ignored because it is considered a duplicate site within eBay.

Yahoo wouldn't even consider adding this kind of site to their directory because ebay.com is already listed. There's no point in adding all of eBay's stores (sub-sites) when people can just go to the eBay home page and perform a search from there.

There are thousands and thousands of people who have created eBay auction stores to sell their products. The search engines and directories won't clutter up their index with a bunch of eBay offspring websites that all look very similar.

The key to overcoming this and getting traffic to your unique eBay auction store is to create a separate site with your own domain (yourstore.com) that has content that the popular search engines and directories can find. Then from this site you can link to your eBay auction store to begin selling your goods.

Here's an example...

Let's say you want to create an auction site that sells baseball cards.

You could create a 10-15 page content-only site about baseball (baseball-fun-facts.com for example). Within this site you could add facts about the history of the sport, information on various baseball players, stadiums, and so on. Then you would add this site to the search engines to start bringing in free traffic.

As I mentioned earlier, Yahoo won't list your eBay store in their directory since it's a duplicate of thousands of other similar auction sites. However, they may be more obliged to add your baseball-fun-facts.com website about baseball since it lives on its own, separate domain and it contains unique content about a niche topic.

Now you can use this separate site to promote your store. So in essence, this baseball content website will be acting as a doorway to your eBay auction site.

Here are the steps to getting your auction site up and running...

1) Register a domain name. (SomeName.com)

2) Choose a web hosting option.

3) Now create the pages to your website. Remember this will be the site that will act as the doorway to your eBay auction site. You will add it to Google, Yahoo, MSN, and all the other searchable directories and search engines out there.

Try to add as much content as possible. The more content you have, the greater the chance it will be picked up by the search engines. Here's a tutorial on getting search engine traffic.

4) Next setup your eBay store and begin selling your products and services.

5) Link your eBay store to your website and vice versa.

Creating an Auction Website

IMPORTANT: If you want to create a website where people can auction off their goods and services (like eBay) then keep reading, but if you want to create a site to sell your own goods and services on eBay then read this article.

eBay has taken the Internet by storm. It's the most successful auction site on the web and is a great example of how you can capitalize on a concept that has never been developed online. They may not have been the first to attempt an auction website, but they were definitely the first to do it right.

It would be very hard to try to compete with a site that large and that respected. Let's face it. The name "eBay" is synonymous with the phrase "online auction". However, that doesn't mean you can't create an auction site like eBay and achieve success.

Start Small

The best way to start any business online is to start small. The biggest mistake people make when trying to build a business is that they want to do everything right now and try to copy their successful predecessors.

Do you think eBay became that big overnight? No. They started off small and then once they had their base customers they grew into what they are now.

If you want to build a successful auction web site, I would suggest that you begin by creating your site on a specific, well-defined niche and starting a small auction that caters only to that niche. Then once your site becomes successful, you can expand into other areas.

The reason is it will be easier to draw in traffic from the search engines because you won't have as much competition. Go to Google.com now and do a search for "auction site" (without quotes). When I did it there were over 18 million results.

So you would be competing with millions and millions of sites with a topic that broad. Try narrowing it down and focusing your auction site on one theme at first and then work on expanding.

For example, let's say your site is about baseball cards. You could create an entire site dedicate to information on the cards. You would use the search engines (Google, MSN, etc.) to attract people searching for this topic.

Then you could create an auction area on the site just for the cards and start building your customer base. Once your site gains popularity then you can think about expanding to offer more categories. Of course baseball cards was just an example. You would choose a topic you have an interest in and are knowledgeable about.

How to Create Your Auction Site

As you may know, the first step to creating any site is to register a domain (dot com) name. There's information on how to do that here. Then once you have selected your name, you'll need a web host to host your site.

Since you are going to be creating an auction site, you'll want to have a lot of web space (at least 5000 megabytes to start). Powweb web hosting is an excellent choice.

Next, you'll need to find a script for the auction itself. This will be the backbone of your auction and will tell it how to operate. There are several sites out there that provide these scripts for free.

Keep in mind, you will be responsible for setting the auction script up yourself and may need to learn a bit about programming to get it working properly. Be sure to consult the documentation that comes with the script you decide to download for complete details on how to set it up.

The CGI Resource Index has a list of several scripts for you to choose from.

Promoting Your Auction Site

Start off with the search engines. Most search engine traffic is still free and it's one of the best ways to bring targeted traffic to your site without breaking the bank. You would use them to bring people to your site that are searching for that particular topic (baseball cards, for this example).

For details on getting your site listed with the major search engines, click here.

Then once your auction site has become successful at that level, you can start offering other categories and expand your site. It's important to keep in mind that you must start small and only target a specific niche. It will be much easier to get traffic when you're starting out.

So going with the baseball theme example, you could go to other baseball related websites and start promoting there. Perhaps you could suggest link swaps with these webmasters to start funneling in some traffic. As I said earlier, you'll have much less competition going this route than if you just tried to push a brand new ebay-like auction site that sells everything.

Make Money With Your MySpace Website

Want to make a little extra money from your MySpace page? This will work exceptionally well if your page is popular and gets a lot of traffic.

While people love MySpace, I know many of the users hate having such a long, hard-to-remember website address. Wouldn't it be great to be able to type in www.yoursite.com and have it redirect to your MySpace page automatically?

After all it would be much easier to type and remember, right?

You can do this easily by registering a domain name (yoursite.com) at WebsitePalace.com and simply set the domain to forward to your MySpace page automatically.

(After you purchase it, you will have to login to your account to setup the forwarding. It's very easy and takes 2 seconds.)

Yes, there are cheaper domain registrars like GoDaddy but WebsitePalace.com, gives you free domain forwarding and masking so you really come out cheaper.

GoDaddy charges a yearly fee for domain forwarding and masking - in addition to the domain name. With WebsitePalace.com the only thing you pay for is the domain name.
What Is Domain Forwarding and Masking?

Domain forwarding is simply the process of forwarding one address to another. So if you want people to type in myflywebsite.com to get to your MySpace page, you would register myflywebsite.com at WebsitePalace.com and set it to forward to your MySpace page.

Domain masking is another free option you can setup. This keeps the domain you registered displayed in your visitor's browser. So let's say your myspace address is...

http://www.myspace.com/32432423432342342343

And you register the domain name myflywebsite.com.

When someone types in myflywebsite.com, it keeps this address in the person's browser so they never see your MySpace domain. It will look like the address to your site is really myflywebsite.com.

If you have a MySpace page that promotes a business or social event and you want people to remember the name, this is a great branding and marketing solution. A shorter address also looks much better on business cards.

Instead of sending people to...

http://www.myspace.com/32432423432342342343...

You can send them to myflywebsite.com (or whatever name you choose) and that way they'll never have to remember your long, MySpace address again!
IMPORTANT NOTE: For copyright reasons, I would suggest you avoid choosing a name with the word "myspace" in it.

Don't worry. This won't change how you update your MySpace page and you will still be able to access it with the old address. So if your friends have it bookmarked then they will still be able to access your site.

This does not in any way affect the workings of your myspace account. You're only setting up a redirect.
So How Do You Make Money From This?

Well as soon as all your friends see your MySpace address has a nice and clean domain name that redirects to your page, they'll be jealous and want one too.

So what you can do is become a domain name reseller with The Ultimate Domain Name Reseller Program and advertise your reseller site on MySpace page so your friends can get their own domains.

You'll get your own professional and customizable sales site that's already created for you, and you can set your own prices so you do determine your profit. You can charge $8 per year or $20 per year for the domain names. The price is up to you!

All you do is advertise the link to your reseller site on your MySpace page, and you'll earn commissions for all domain orders (or any other products) through your site.

What's even better is when your friends renew their domain names every year, you will still earn a recurring commission. So the more people you get to buy domains under you, the more money you'll make.

It's only $69 per year to become a reseller (I make that back in an hour sometimes), and you don't have to do anything but promote the link to your store.

Ultimate Domain Resellers handles all the customer support, orders, credit card transactions, etc. You're just the middleman and promote your special reseller link from your MySpace page. You can login anytime to see how much money you've earned for the day, week or month.

What a cool, easy way to earn some extra money from your MySpace page. Remember, you don't take the orders. Ultimate Domain Name Resellers handles all the hard work. You are just referring your visitors to your reseller site and watch the commissions roll in.

Special Tip: Before you start telling your friends about shortening their MySpace address, register your own domain and forward it to your own MySpace page first so they can see how it works. You'll convince more people if they see you've done it and understand the benefits.

(Remember you won't be able to setup the forward until after you complete the domain registration process.)

Imagine advertising your MySpace page by saying, "Go to mysite.com." Your friends will be jealous. ;-)

Join today, get your reseller site, set your domain prices and start making money with your MySpace site immediately!

Profiting as a YouTube Partner

There are many benefits to posting videos on YouTube. For one, it can help improve your online exposure by giving your potential audience another way to find you online.

Also, because YouTube is owned by Google, they will often display the videos in their natural search results on Google.com. So, not only can people find your videos on YouTube.com, they may also find them in Google as well.

Finally, the benefit I want to talk about here is their Partner Program. As a YouTube partner, you can display ads within or alongside your videos and you get paid for every ad click.

The program works very much like Google AdSense. In fact, your earnings and reports are all tied into your AdSense account. If you do not have an account upon applying for the Partner Program then you'll be prompted to create one.
Getting Accepted as a YouTube Partner

YouTube does not disclose the specific requirements for getting accepted into the program. They simply state you must meet some predetermined criteria that consists of, but not limited to: number of subscribers, video views, video content quality, etc.

Some people have suggested that you need at least 600 subscribers and over 100,000 video views before you will be accepted into the program. Although, I've heard of people getting accepted with less than 100 subscribers. I think a lot depends on the type of channel you have and the quality of your videos.

For example, channels about how to make money tend to have a lot of sketchy, spammy content so YouTube may be more strict with channels that have this kind of content.
How Much Can You Make as a Partner?

Just like the Google AdSense Program, the details of how much you earn per click or your total earning potential is not disclosed. Overall, your earnings depend on how much the advertiser is paying for the ad and how much Google decides to share with you.

The more related the ads are to your videos, the greater chance people will click on them. Just know that you cannot control what ads show up. That's all up to YouTube. It's important you title and tag your videos accordingly so YouTube can serve up ads that are as relevant as possible.

It's reasonable to believe that certain channels may make more than others due to the nature of the ads. For example, financial ads may pay more than gaming ads. I have no proof of this, of course. I'm only speculating.
Applying for the YouTube Partner Program

To apply for the program, simply login to YouTube and then go to http://www.youtube.com/partners. When you try to apply, YouTube will quickly scan your account details and if you have a small chance of getting accepted they will warn you to come back and try to apply at a later time.

It should only take a few days to hear back from YouTube after you apply, and if your application is declined, you cannot re-apply for a certain period of time.

How to Make Money With an Information Website

[Image]The Internet has been life-changing for me over the past few years. I now earn enough to stay at home full-time and never dreamed I'd have this kind of success online.

How can you earn a living from a website like me?

Simply pick a topic you love and write a website about it. All you need is information. You don't even have to have your own product or service to sell.

The more passionate you are about the topic, the easier it will be to keep adding information, develop your unique spin and expanding the site. The larger the site, the more it will benefit you in terms of free search engine traffic and revenue. You'll see why in a bit.

I've earned over SIX FIGURES on the
Internet every year since 2005.

I didn't put that message up to brag. I want to show you that it is possible to make an honest living online without spamming or scamming people. All you need is time, patience and the desire to learn.

Yes, I did invest some money (I paid for my websites, of course) but time was the biggest investment of all by far. And I will tell you now, if you don't plan to invest in either, then this is not for you.

You also can't be a stranger to hard work. I've put in some serious time over the years. In fact, I still do even though the money is rolling in now. I sacrificed many evenings, weekends, holidays, etc. to devote to this venture.

I'm constantly reading, adding new information to my sites, researching and observing what others are doing to stay ahead of the curve. However, the best part about it is, it doesn't feel like real work because I thoroughly enjoy it.

That is important and unfortunately most people don't get that part of it. They believe that the desire to make money will be enough motivation to become successful.

It's not.

If that were the case, everyone would have a successful money-making website. I mean, who doesn't want to make a lot of money, right?

The money comes as a result
of doing what you enjoy!

It's not the other way around. If you don't enjoy it, you won't be successful because you'll eventually get burned out.

So many of my friends and family want to try this because they are fascinated by the money. That's great...but you still have to enjoy yourself. Money cannot be your only motivation.

You'll never meet a successful Internet entrepreneur that says, "I hate spending time updating my website and learning how to market on the Internet, but I'm still making $300,000 per year with my site."

The people that are successful out here enjoy themselves and work at this continuously, and most of them chose a website topic they are passionate about.

The Truth...

Let me be honest. The online world is not for everyone. Many people don't want or even have the time to spend in front of their PC going through the learning curve, researching, writing content, etc.

However, if you have some time and don't mind learning...you could clean up out here. However, don't expect to spend one hour a month on this and make $100,000 a year.

You have to set realistic goals and understand that the earnings will start out small. Mine certainly did. My first check in 1998 was for $14.95. But it was all I needed to make me believe "I can do this!"

No Get Rich Schemes Here!

If you're looking for a get-rich-quick-scheme, this is not the place. I don't care how other websites make it seem, there is no such thing as quick money. Please don't believe the hype.

I roll my eyes at many of these websites that scream phrases like, "Make Millions Overnight!" They are usually run by people who have never made a dime.

Nevertheless, they want you to spend your hard-earned dollars on a "how-to-course" that they haven't even bought or used themselves. They just earn a commission if you buy what they have to offer.

Well, before you spend money on any of these products, be sure to ask the website owner to show you some proof of their success. Can they show you any of their checks they've received like I can?

Make sure they can also explain exactly what you have to do.

I don't know about you, but if I'm going to learn how to make money out here, I'd want to learn from someone who is actually succeeding - not from someone selling a cheesy course they haven't even used or read themselves.

How You Can Make Money

[Image]The Internet is the information highway. Everyday millions of people go to Google, MSN and Yahoo to perform searches on anything from potting plants to investing stocks.

People want information and the way you can benefit from this is to build a website that gives people what they are looking for.

Achieve a top 5 ranking in the major search engines for popular keyword phrases and you can really rack in a ton of free traffic like I've been doing.

The money comes in with affiliate programs. These are programs that are offered by companies that pay website owners to refer their products.

Generally, they pay a certain percentage for every sale that comes in as a result of your site's referral. Amazon.com has one and it's very popular among website owners.

So let's say you have an information website on baby toy safety. Your site is #3 in Google.com when someone types in "safe baby toys" and other related terms.

On your site, you've written various reviews on various toys based upon your own experiences. The more content you have, the greater the chance you'll be found in the search engines for free.

To earn money, you could join the free eToy.com affiliate program and when you recommend various toys for parents, eToys will pay you a percentage for every sale your site refers. (Companies provide a special tracking link to use on your site so they know when your site generates a sale).

You could also join Amazon.com's free affiliate program and recommend their books on baby safety. Amazon doesn't pay very high commissions (3-5% on most products), but if you refer large volumes, the commissions can add up.

Google's Free Affiliate Program[Image]

Thank goodness for programs like Google Adsense. This is a slightly different type of affiliate program because you don't have to get your visitors to buy anything.

You simply help Google advertise by displaying some text ads on your pages and they pay you for every click each ad receives. Thanks to Google's technology the ads that will be displayed match your site's content.

So if your site is about baby toys, the ads that show up will relate to that topic, thus improving the click-thru percentage. The more pages of content you have, the greater the earning potential for programs like this.

I use Adsense on three of my websites and I am quite pleased with the results.

See one of my monthly Google Adsense checks.
(This check is revenue earned from two of my websites.)

No Products to Ship or Manage

The nice thing about information websites that make money from affiliate programs (rather than selling hard goods) is that you can leave your website for days, weeks or months and still continue to make money without having to handle inventory or talk to customers.

Remember, your site serves as the middleman and refers products for other company websites. The actual company that pays you is the one that ships the products and deals with the customers.

[Image]Here's the best part...

Now that my sites are established and generating traffic automatically from Google, MSN and Yahoo... I can go on vacation for months if I wanted to and they would still generate revenue without doing a single thing.

That's me in the pic enjoying a summer vacation in The Dominican Republic, May 2004. My websites continue to work for me while I relax on the beach.

That's the major benefit of making money from affiliate programs instead of selling your own tangible products that you'd have to ship and manage.

However, I want to make clear that I had to work to GET my websites to that point by building a lot of content... and that does take time. Remember, there's no such thing as "get rich quick" out here and I've certainly done my time.

Even though I only have to work on my sites a couple of hours per month now, I started out spending several hours per day on my sites.

An online business is no different than an offline. Even though there are some differences in how the businesses are run, they both require time, work and patience.

But the great thing about online is once you are established you can leave your site for months and still come back to the same income. I don't know many offline companies that can say that!

The Best Way to Build Your Site

Now that you know a bit about how you can earn money with an information website, you need to select a web host so you can build your website.

If you've read any other parts of the "Making Money" section of this site, you'll see the words "Site Build It" (SBI) everywhere. I get so many emails from people asking me why I promote that product so heavily.

My answer is always very simple...

I am a customer and it works!

[Image]Think about it. When you buy any product (it could be a household cleaning product or a new car) that OVERdelivers and goes above and beyond your expectations don't you happily tell others about it? Well, that's why I heavily push Site Build It on this site.

Success excites me....just like the guy on the left. :) So that's why you see the product mentioned numerous times on this website.

It is the ONLY web host I'll ever recommend to anyone who wants to create a successful money-making website.

I can personally guarantee you won't find any other host that guides you through the process of building a profitable website without involving you in the technical gibble gabble.

When you've been building sites on the web as long as I have, it's exciting to find a web host that actually delivers what it promises AND has the successful websites and testimonials to back it up.

The key to succeeding with an information website is not about deciphering the difference between ASP and PHP or learning how to CHMOD your CGI scripts while you FTP your HTML.

Yeah... sounds confusing, huh?

It's about choosing a topic you have an interest in. Next, build content so the search engines will find your site, and then select affiliate programs in your niche to earn money from the traffic you receive.

I'll say it again. No other product on the Net walks you through this entire process from start to finish AND can display the success videos to prove it works.

What Exactly is Site Build It?

It's an all in one website building AND marketing machine that does all the technical coding in the background while you focus on two things...

1) Writing your search-engine friendly content so you can get as much free traffic and...

2) Incorporating affiliate programs throughout your site so you can make money from the traffic you receive.

After all, making money is really the goal, right?

Who wants to spend hours trying to figure out how to develop a design, code HTML, and FTP a web page?

Huh???

Why not choose a web host that does all this for you so you can focus on writing content and earning revenue. After all, that's what gets you the money....not the coding and programming.

View the SBI! video tour to see how it actually works.

My SBI Website

In June of 2005 I purchased SBI and created, www.flat-stomach-exercises.com. I'm writing this in February 2007 and the site gets about 2,000 unique visitors per day and earns about $1200 per month in affiliate revenue. This is amazing success after such a short time.

I didn't use Site Build It! to create this site in 2002 and it took me about 4 years to achieve those kinds of stats.

All the traffic comes from the free search engines and the profits are courtesy of Google's free Adsense program (described above). As I continue to add more information to the site, these totals will only increase.

It's purely a numbers game. The more content you have on your site, the more traffic the search engines are likely to give you. In the end, the more revenue your site will generate.

I Had Doubts at First

I learned about SBI way back in 2000 when it first launched. I didn't buy it at first because I wasn't sure it was for me. I had already built a couple of websites on my own and I really thought it was mainly for beginners. That's why I didn't use it for this site.

I had this know-it-all attitude and felt that it couldn't really teach me anything I didn't already know. Boy was I wrong. Even though I had some knowledge of creating websites, I never received the marketing help that SBI provides you.

It was further proof that building a successful money making website is more about the marketing and building content and less about the technical aspects.

Just because I knew how to build a website didn't necessarily mean I was good at writing content to keep my visitor's attention, attracting free traffic via the search engines, and getting my visitors to buy products I recommend.

These are all things you MUST do if you want success with an information website. I guarantee you a regular web host won't help you do all this. Only Site Build It does.

I'm Not The Only Success Story

SBI has helped so many people create successful information websites that SiteSell.com has created a page just to display the results. Go to http://website.sitesell.com/results.

What's most important to note about these sites is that they weren't built by programmers or "techy" people. Most of them are people like you and me who are just looking for supplemental income or perhaps even a way to quit their 9 to 5 jobs.

Look at the array of topics. This shows you that almost anything is fair game. The bottom line is if you have information about something, there are people out there searching in Google, MSN and Yahoo for your content!

When you view this page, take note that every site listed here is at least in the top 1% in terms of website traffic.

This is primarily because SBI helps with creating your pages so they score high in the popular search engines. You'll notice my site, www.flat-stomach-exercises.com is listed there too.

I want to repeat this again. A regular web host will NOT help you with marketing and search engine rankings. They provide you with the platform to build your site but the help stops there.

You are on your own. Only Site Build It takes it to the next level and helps you build and helps you rank high in the search engines.

I can confidently say this because I have tried at least 6 other web hosts in my years of building websites and no one has ever come close to what SBI can deliver. Whether you're a beginner or advanced webmaster, YOU NEED Site Build It if you want financial success.

"...But I'm Not Computer Savvy."

I don't know if you realize it or not, but the people that are making good money on the net aren't necessarily programmers, computer geeks or people that are computer savvy.

Thanks to user-friendly web hosts, anyone can get a website up pretty easily these days. The real key with an information site is actually getting traffic to your site and writing solid, convincing content that holds your visitor's attention so they purchase products you recommend.

Content is what sells - not Flash animations and cool web designs (unless you are in the web design field). It's the useful, bookmarkable (not sure that's a word!) content that convinces people to buy products and services you recommend.

People generally bookmark websites because they provide good content and/or they like the benefits they read about - not because they like the flashy animations going across the screen.

Don't get me wrong. You want your site to look nice, but as I said, that's the easy part these days. SBI has templates already pre-made and you simply choose one and your framework is done in seconds. The real challenge is getting the visitors. That's why you need a web host like SBI.

Now, if you want the bells and whistles you can still do that by all means, just understand that's not what is going to make your site a success. It's your content.

So what if you have a fancy site with cool animations, scrolling images, etc. if no one is actually finding you in Google, Yahoo or MSN.

The key to making money with an information website is offering valuable content to a target audience and getting them to purchase products and service you recommend. That's what Site Build It focuses on helping you do.

So don't worry if you have never built a website or you just aren't too computer savvy. Most people on the SBI results page aren't either, but they managed to succeed with their websites despite being a novice.

Why?

Because they've figured out the importance of choosing a topic they are passionate about and providing useful information to a target audience.

In other words, they've become the expert in their targeted niche (baseball, knitting, skin care or whatever the topic may be). Yes, it is that simple. It takes work, of course -- but the concept is very simple.

100% Money Back Guarantee

SBI not for you? No problem. SiteSell.com understands something like this is not everyone. However, there's no harm in trying it out right?

The folks at SiteSell realize building a website is not for everyone (see for yourself). So there's no point in wasting your money if this is not for you. Just give it a try. You literally have nothing to lose.

Ways To Make And Save Money

Perhaps like myself, you're fascinated by unusual ways to make money. Years ago I read about an old couple diamond hunting in parking lots, and I knew there were more ways to get paid than I could imagine. As for myself, at twelve I pulled Playboy magazines from a newspaper recycling bin to sell in school. Before that I sold ammunition to both sides in my brother's paper-wad war. I still look for the more interesting angles on financial matters.
